“NO SINGLE”
"No Single" is an upcycling project created from waste materials collected from food delivery services in Bangkok. The majority of the materials were discarded single-use plastic bags, commonly used by customers for food orders. I personally gathered these plastic bags from various delivery services and transformed them through hand cutting, hand weaving, and hand sewing techniques.
By repurposing these waste materials, I crafted a durable yet artistic grocery bag designed for multiple uses, reducing the environmental impact of single-use plastics. The intricate weaving techniques not only strengthen the bag but also introduce texture and visual interest, transforming the plastic into a functional and reusable object. The process of weaving brings rhythm, craftsmanship, and a tactile quality to the bag, resulting in a unique blend of sustainability and artistry. The design reflects eco-consciousness while injecting creativity into everyday items.
