Khanittha Nualtaranee (b. 1983, Bangkok) is a textile artist and founder of kaniit.textile. Her practice is grounded in the structural principles of weaving, material research, and spatial installation, spanning both object-based works and site-specific environments that examine impermanence, transformation, and structural change.

Her practice is grounded in the structural language of weaving and a sustained inquiry into the impermanence of material states. Working across object-based and spatial installations, She brings together material, structure, and space to create experiences that reveal the unexpected within the familiar. 

 

Her process begins with close observation—of technique, material, and the hands that shape them. She is drawn to environments defined by repetition and change, where structure is never fixed but continuously remade.
 

This inquiry originates from her research on the “Impermanence of Things” at Aalto University, which remains the foundation of her practice: an exploration of existence as a continuous state of transformation. For Khanittha, textile is not merely a physical medium, but a language of change.
